About ICM
ICM is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Phoenix IT Group plc.
In June 2007, Phoenix and ICM shareholders overwhelmingly approved the acquisition by Phoenix, of ICM Computer Group.
Phoenix IT Group was established in 1980 and serves organisations throughout the UK and Europe. Phoenix IT Group's head office is based in Northampton and since 1997, it has delivered IT services to more than 70 companies in the FTSE100. On 16th November 2004, Phoenix IT Group floated on the London Stock Exchange and the Group now includes Trend, Servo, NDR and ICM.
Following the recent acquisition, Phoenix has demonstrated its commitment to continue to invest in ICM's core capabilities of Business Continuity and Managed Availability services, by acquiring a 100,000 square foot, state-of-the-art business continuity and data centre facility in Farnborough, one of the largest centres of its kind in the UK.
At the same time, the Group is pleased to announce its largest ever Business Continuity contract, with a major City based financial organisation. The contract is valued at up to £8.4m, over the maximum contract term of seven years. With a mix of dedicated and syndicated work area positions, the client will become the first user of the facility and demonstrates Phoenix's continued success in signing large long-term contracts with major blue chip organisations, providing an enhanced business continuity order book and excellent forward revenue visibility.
The enlarged group now has:
- Over 2,400 employees
- Annual revenues of over £230m
- 8,000 business continuity positions
- Certifications and accreditations with every major vendor
- Over 1,000 field and on-site engineers
As the UK's leading provider of Business Availability, ICM looks to the future with confidence. As part of the enlarged Group, ICM offers customers a broader range of services, technical skills and capabilities.
